We registered at Crate and Barrel and Target. I was thinking of also registering at BBB. Will it seem selfish if we have 3 lists?

We'll be registering at two Fortunoffs and Target... but hey, why not go for three? It's not selfish it gives your guests more choices.

I'm registered at BBB and Macy's. It isn't selfish if you register for three at all...it gives people choices. One of my friends is registered at four LOL....Macy's, BBB, Crate and Barrel and Fortunoff!!! She did mention to me that she thinks BBB and Macy's are the best though...Fortunoff is very different since they changed ownership and Crate and Barrel doesn't stock all of the items online and doesn't have a lot of stores, so it isn't as easy for guests that way....just her opinion... Macy's was wonderful when I went...so helpful and I got a lot of freebies

I don't think it is selfish. I mean right now my MAIN registry is BBB and then I have my Williams-Sonoma for the specialty items. I love to cook and bake so that place is like my Mecca lol
I will use BBB for the regular, everyday stuff, and I will use WS for the specialty items that my close family members may want to buy me. Like my Margarittaville Margarita maker lol =X
I think it may get a little out of control if you have a registry at BBB that is like 20 pages, and then 20 pages at C&B and then another long list at another place lol If you are registered at BBB for mostly towels and home stuff that is great, but if you don't want to use them for dishes and the like then you are going to pick another store and I think that is fine.

We are registered at Fortunoffs and bed bath and beyond. I do not think there is anything wrong with having 3 places.... gives ur guests more of a varity!

i plan on registering at 2 places. i dont think its selfish..gives more options, especially for OOT guests who may not have all the stores where they live

Right now we have one registry (Macy's) with a ton of things on it. As our wedding date draws closer and we see that we need to add more, we may register at Pottery Barn (but only if we need to).
I know people who have registered at 5 places so I don't think there is a limit of any kind.

WE have 3: Macy's, BBB and Amazon. I don't think it's selfish! Each serves a different purpose (nicer stuff, practical stuff and fun stuff)

I dont think its selfish if you like stuff from 3 places. We registered at Crate and Barrel and Macys and were able to get pretty much everything we wanted. We toyed with a target registry for things like electronics but decided it would be best to buy that kind of stuff for ourselves.

We're registered at Crate and Barrel and Bed Bath and Beyond. We have everything we need at those two places, so we really don't need to register anywhere else.

We did BBB & Target. Originally we jut did BBB but people were asking where else we were registering so with the advice from the Ladies here on LIW we chose to add Target also.

Thanks for all your input everyone! I am going to look into both BBB and Macy's. I thought Target would be good b/c we have a ton of OOT guests and I know some people aren't Crate & Barrel, but there are only about 10 registry appropriate items from Target so far, so maybe one of the other two places will have more.

I don't think it would be selfish. the one thing I considered was that if I register for more stuff, that is a lot of other stuff I'm not going to receive - so I wanted to be sure I really wanted everything I registered for. I think I won't receive my full crystal drinkware set b/c I registered for other stuff. Oh well....at least i'll get a 10% discount and can buy it myself. OH - btw I am registered at fortunoff and crate and barrel. i did wish i registered at BBB but my shower is on saturday so i'm not going to bother at this point. :)
