I would make at least a 5 pound bag or more, you'd rather have leftovers than not make enough take care

I generally figure it as one potato per person .. since you have such a large group .. maybe throw in an extra couple .. better to have too much than not enough.

I would probably use about 10lbs of potatoes but we make a lot of masked potatoes in my house. I use a 5lb bag for only 5-7 people and it all goes!

I usually figure a pound a person.

A pound a person is really a lot of potatoes! When I make mashed potatoes, I cube them and measure about a cup of raw potatoes per person. This is a generous amount.
