just curious. for a wedding of approx. 130 people what do you think the max number of people should be in the bridal party?

we're having 150 invites with a wedding party consisting of 4 bridesmaids, one MOH, 2 best men, and 6 groomsmen. random i know.

We're inviting 240 ppl and we're having 1 MOH & 1BM and then 3 BMs & GMs...

we are inviting 150 ppl and we have 1 moh 1 BM 2 BM 2GM and 1 FG and 1RB...I didn't want a big wedding party.

I don't think the size of the wedding is a factor..you should have ppl close to you in your party...however many there may be. We have 5 BM and 5 GM, no FG or RB.

I agree with everyone i dont think theres a minium or limit of people you should have in your bridal party. Remeber it's your day - so you should have as many as you want. I have an enourmus bridal party, 2 moh, 9 couples, 2 jbm, 2jgm, 2 fg & 1 rb.

In the wedding etiquette book they suggest 1 BM and 1 Usher for every 50 people + 1 MOH and 1 BM, 1 FG and 1 RB
So, if you are inviting 200 people you should have 4 Bridesmaids, 4 ushers, a MOH and Best Man a Flower girl, and RB. Not everyone goes by that these days. Some girls have small weddings with big wedding parties. One of my co-workers even had a female RB. Anything goes these days.

I agree with everyone else. I don't think it matters. It is who ever you want to be in your bridal party. We are inviting 200 people and we are having: 1 MOH 1 BM 4 BRIDESMAIDS 4 GROOMSMEN 1 JB 1 FG 2 RB'S 2 USHERS

4 BMs 1MOH 2FG
4GM 2 BM 4 USHERS 1 RB

I think whoever you and FH want in your BP should be the number you have and it doesnt have to be based on the number of invites. FH and I are having 250 guests and we have 8 girls and 10 guys.

yeah i agree. i dont think the number of ppl attending and the number of ppl in bridal party correlate. but i am having 300 ppl with:
2mohs 1 bridesmaid 2 best men 1 groomsmen 2 flower girls 2 ring boys

i honestly feel have whatever you want but realize more people equals more problems. Also consider where you are marrying since there is only soo much room when you get up there IoI

We are inviting 200 give or take a few and i have 1 bm 3 bms and fh has 2 best men and 2 gms. No kids are in the wedding.
