How many ppl attended your ceremony?

We are getting married on July 3, 2009 and are having our ceremony at the gazebo of the hall and the reception right afterwards. I am DIY the wedding programs and was wondering how many to make? Do you think most the guests wil come to ceremony or just the reception?

We had our ceremony at the reception hall and as far as i know all of our guests came to the ceremony. I didn't make enough programs for every person and still had a few left over. I would say make 1/2 of the amount of people invited.

I got married at a church so it's a little different but I had 258 guests (at the reception) and made 100 programs and I ran out. I agree with the PP and make half of the guest count.

We had the same amount. Both were held in the same place, and everyone who came to the ceremony came to the reception.

We got married at our RH & everyone that came to the wedding came to the ceremony.

If you are having your ceremony at the hall I would expect all of your guests to be there. If you were getting married in a church with a gap in between then I would say less.

i would only make programs for 50-60% of your guest-not all guests need 1

estimate about half of your total guests. I still had left overs when I did that and we had almost a packed ceremony at the RH

Our ceremony was at the RH. Out of a headcount of 166, 5 didn't go to the ceremony (they 'fessed up). I made 200 programs and definitely had more than 34 (200 - 166) left over. To be safe, I'd say make 80% of your headcount.
