How many programs to print up?

Hi,

For anyone having programs for the church, how many do you think I should have?

Thanks,
Helen

We expected about 125-150 people and printed up 100. Still have some left over.

We're doing 100.....

We are only having 160 people at the
wedding and who know how many people
will show up to the church.
But the paper was cheap and came in
50 sheet packages, so we bought 2
packages.

Do I need a Program?

Ours is exactly a 30 minute ceremony at the reception site. It's nondenom. Do we need programs?

You don`t need a program

They`re popular with the brides here but my wedding was the only wedding I have been to where we had them. They`re not a must. I liked them though, it was a chance to add another creative touch to the wedding and it identified the members of the wedding party too.

Nina - I'm doing programs, but it is not a necessity ..

OUr wedding is also at the ceremony site, but I wanted to do a program that listed everyone in the bridal party, we wanted to give our thanks to our parents, we also listed the order of the ceremony, and I even included the menu in the program, so I didn't have to do separate menu cards. On the last page, I included our new name, new address and phone number for all to use as a reference. Good Luck.

I think I'm doing about 125-140 programs for about a turnout of 230 (I think) - I thought 1 per couple and a few extra for the single guests. I hope this will work out well! :-)

I also don't think they are a necessity. We are doing them, because I want to write something for my father in it. Also, we have some interesting things going on in our ceremony (ex. Our friend is singing, accompanied by an old family friend on the guitar), so we want to make mention of that. But I have been to weddings without programs, and it wasn't as if anyone was 'lost' without them...
