I know I mentioned this the other day, but I'm very torn about my registry... I'm currently registered at BBB and William Sonoma, but I really LOVE the Food Network Brand Dinnerware & cookware at Kohls. I can't scratch my other 2 registries b/c WS has the specialty bakeware that I want and BBB has the appliances! Ahhh!! What to do? I feel weird registering 3 places. Thoughts?

Registering at 3 places is fine. It lets people decide where to go.

Re: How Many Registries?
I'm registered at 3. Macys, BB&B and Crate & Barrel. I think in the past few years, all of the showers I've been to have included 3 registries....def. at least 2. It's not in poor taste at all.

Re: How Many Registries?
I think it's more than fine to register at 3 places!! I think it actually makes it easier for guests- more places to chose from. We're registered at 3 places too

Oh god! And my mother is the worst of them! Not that any of my aunts will even buy from my registry anyway...

Re: How Many Registries?
I don't see anything wrong with it at all! I think that guests will like that they have more of a choice. I mean, WS is expensive and maybe those that can't afford it will love that you have 2 other registries to choose from!

We're registered at three places & I dont see anything wrong with it- it gives everyone a choice and at least they can shop wherever is easiest for them.

Re: How Many Registries?
I have 4
First we registered at Bloom for fine china but I transfered it to Macys b/c they have much better perks.
BBB - kitchen items and other big ticket items b/c they always have coupons
Willams Sonoma & Crate & Barrell - for little things that we liked but cant find elsewhere.
I know people who have had more so dont worry bout it. Register for what u want. Its not like your forcing people to buy it.

Re: How Many Registries?
i did macys and BBB but i'm seriously considering adding williams sonoma. I think for me it would be pointless because people only buy gifts for the shower and i'm only having like 40 ppl.
but i would do it.

Re: How Many Registries?
IMHO...i think 3 places is too many. Sometimes when you give people too much choice..it becomes chaos. Maybe if you really love that brand dinner and cookware at kohls, you can show your bm's and they will get it for you. Or some close family members. I worked for Fortunoff and we always recommended that 2 would be a good number. I think 3 is too many, but that's just my opinion!!
