How many RH's did you visit? Why did you choose the one you did?
We went to sooooo many: Chateau Briand, SandCastle, Westbury Manor, Antun's, Manor East, Holiday Inn in Plainview, Riveria, Chateau La Mer, Fox Hollow, The Carltun, Ariana Waterfall, Cresthollow Country Club, Leonard's of Great Neck, K of C (Seaford), The Swan Club, Verdi's, The Sterling.
My personal favorites were: CB, CHCC & JT.
We finally choose the last place we went to Jericho Terrace because of the great price we were getting and all the extra add-ins we got along with that price! I also fell in LOVE with the Dome Room. I had my Prom there and it was amazing!
ETA: Some more I remember going to see!!

We actually went to 2 RH's before we picked our's. Our RH that we picked was the 2nd one we went to look at. But we kept comparing each one to it and a lot of things couldn't be beat! plus I got the room I wanted and our BM was soo personable and great with us.

I went to tons of them.
Leonards, NRC, Fox Hollow, CLM, The Riviera, Westbury Manor, Jericho Terrace, Chateau Briand, Verdis of Westbury, Stewart Manor CC, Douglaston Manor, got quotes from Swan Club and Coral House
We went with Fox Hollow because it was a fabulous price for what we were getting, and we love the Winter Garden Pavilion room. We have been to weddings there and LOVE the food

We went to Chateau Briand, Crest Hollow Country Club, Fox Hollow, Floral Terrace, Jericho Terrace, Russos on the Bay, and El Caribe.
I went with Chateau Briand, because from the minute I walked in there I was blown away. It was so different and the price with all of the extras they were giving us was wonderful. Plus even though I am having a winter wedding, Ill still be able to go outside to their grouds (they are being renovated) and take pics!!!
I love it there!

I went to the Coral House, the Riviera, Chateau Le Mer, Verdi's of Westbury, the Swan Club, the Brentwood Country Club, Sandcastle, Jericho Terrace, Ariana Waterfall, and Chateau Briand-which was the very last place i went to
I picked Chateau Briand because from the moment i walked in i loved it, i love the staircase, i absolutely love the cocktail hour room, i love the room that my ceremony will be in, and i loooovvvve the room that my reception will be in. I just loved everything about it and knew it had to be the place

I also went to the K of C in Seaford because its around the block from my house and I figured if anything everyone could just walk back to my house

We went to Jericho Terrace, The Carltun, Smithtown Landing, and the Swan Club.
The first one we went to was the Swan Club and we fell in love with it. We have ultimately decided that the Swan was for us. It has everything we dreamed about.
We are going next month to book. Just as soon as that stimulus check comes in.

We went to a bunch... Leonard's, Villa Lombardi, Surf Club, Fountain Head, and VIP country club.
I feel in love with VIP cause it was so big, spacious , had a bunch of fountains and theres a beach right behind it that I can take pics!

We went to 4...Thatched Cottage, Sandcastle, Venetian and Flowerfield.
we were set on Venetian but went to see Flowerfield on a wimb figuring it wasnt affiordable, but we were recently there and FH LOVED it there and so did my family.
we instantly fell in love and decided we will do what we have to do to have it there. The place just gave us that 'feeling' and i get to walk over a bridge as my entrance to the ceremony...how dramatic! lol

I checked out Most of the lessings..TAll Grass, Timber Point and West Sayville. .I really liked West Sayville, but I didn't know how I felt about the dance floor in the other room...
Sunset Harbour - Bellport Country Club...and then the Fox Holllow..I knew as soon as I walked into the place and when I brought my sister there she started to cry...I knew it was the place!!!!
We also checked out The Snapper Inn...I loved the Pavillion but the name bothered me

How was Tall Grass? I originally saw pics of tall grass and FH and I both looked at it and said this is the one...BUT we went to Smithtown Landing and thought the food was horrible so we didnt bother going to Tall Grass because it was owned by Lessings.
