We went to sooooo many: Chateau Briand, SandCastle, Westbury Manor, Antun's, Manor East, Holiday Inn in Plainview, Riveria, Chateau La Mer, Fox Hollow, The Carltun, Ariana Waterfall, Cresthollow Country Club, Leonard's of Great Neck, K of C (Seaford), The Swan Club, Verdi's, The Sterling.
My personal favorites were: CB, CHCC & JT.
We finally choose the last place we went to Jericho Terrace because of the great price we were getting and all the extra add-ins we got along with that price! I also fell in LOVE with the Dome Room. I had my Prom there and it was amazing!
ETA: Some more I remember going to see!!

This thread inspired me so much that since FH didn't have classes last night we hopped in the car and visited two yesterday! Now he wants to visit the other six TONIGHT! Thank god for GPS because those halls are ouTTT there

I only went to one- the NRC. My sisters all got married there so we made it a tradition. And, I love it!!!!!!

How was Tall Grass? I originally saw pics of tall grass and FH and I both looked at it and said this is the one...BUT we went to Smithtown Landing and thought the food was horrible so we didnt bother going to Tall Grass because it was owned by Lessings.
I'm surprised you didn't like the food. We tasted the food at Smithtown and thought it was great!!! I also sampled the food at West Sayville and again was pleased.
We did like Tall Grass, but they are potentially building a shopping mall across the street and Condos on the golf Course. Of course they do not provide this information, but I know people who live in Shorheam and told me to ask about it when I went there. So I did and they did not deny it. They said they are still waiting for approvals, but I'm sure it's going to go through. So I didn't want to take the chance of having construction going on during the wedding.

I visited 8-9 RH I liked CB because of the cocktail room.. big enough for all my gust to sit and have fun.. and FH loved the Normandy room...

I love the normandy room too, thats the room i'm using, the whole idea of coming up from the floor is awesome

We saw 2. I knew I wanted Fox Hollow, but just so we were both 200% sure, we went to Westbury Manor as well. We went back to Fox Hollow the very next day and booked.

We saw 2. I knew I wanted Fox Hollow, but just so we were both 200% sure, we went to Westbury Manor as well. We went back to Fox Hollow the very next day and booked.

I have it boomarked. It answered sooo many of my questions. When I went to bring a payment last week, the BM was shocked that I had nothing to ask. That thread has so far been answering everything!
