How many sizes?

Does anyone know how many sizes they can take in a dress?? I am 7months pregnant now So if I try on a dress I am clearly not what I will be at my wedding Plus I want to lose a few pounds on top of the baby weight!! Should I just wait until I have the baby?? Ughh this is stressing me out.

That's a tough one. Where were you planning on looking for a dress? I mean, if you decided to go just the David's Bridal route, I would say to wait until after you have the baby. It is going to be very tough tryong to figure out what size to get while you are pregnant.

i agree, davids bridal would be a great choice bc you will get you dress very quickly...Otherwise alot of designers take a while, i mean average is 8-10 months. Unless you wanna do a sample sale

im not really crazy about anything at davids bridal. I loved kenneth pool but i know unless I do that ASAP i won't get one. My second choice is Demetrios He has some beauitful dresses.

yeah i told you on the other thread, my KP dress is taking a year to come in, ordered it march 07, getting it march 08.

Maybe you can get a kenneth pool dress at a sample sale, plus it will be alot less, not sure what your budget is for a wedding dress

Yeh I think i'll look hysterical in a dress lol. This huge round belly. I guess I'll be waiting unti sept oct till after he comes out. I'll just pray they have a dress I want that I can get in time.

i would ask the girls which designers finish the dresses quickly.

ALso state your budget for the dress and the girls on here will be able to help you out

I went to macy's bridal where they have the Demetrios Dresses and she said it depends on the dress I want. The more beading the longer or something She really couldnt give me an answer.

yeah until you pick a dress they can't tell you...the more beading then yeah the more work that goes into it. But if you ask girls who have a demetrios dress how long its taking for their dress to come in then you can get an idea, they already picked one so they were told how long.

They can get dresses to you quick by doing rush delivery but they charge ALOT to do so

Under 5 deff. I'm not really sure of the price ranges I know david bridal is cheap but they have nothing I want and Demetrios starts at about 1500++

well ill tell you that KP starts at 4,000 and when i went to buy my dress i honestly didnt see many that were even $4000, most started a little over $5000 and thats without tax and without alteration fees and all that.

With demetrios seems like you would be able to do all that under your budget. Again ask girls who bought a demetrios how long they were told until it comes in

at macys i was told the Demetrios dress i liked could be taken in about 3-4 sizes if i really needed to do it.
