Probably 3 true friends, but this doesn't include DH, my mom, dad and brother - they are the only people in the world I would trust with my life.

I have 5 and they are all from either elementary scholl or Jr. High. We are all very close and have been through so much together. 2 even live in other states but if they needed me or I needed them, I would be on a plane or in my car ina heartbeat, no questions asked.

I would say 2 not including FH and family. These are the ones who've been around for years and always will be. One is my MOH and the other is my BM, my other BM is my sister. I have recently made a new friend too, and she's really great and we've bonded very quickly, but for me it takes more than 8 months to be included in my true blue category
Unfortunately my 2 true blues live out of state! I've been living in Brooklyn for almost 2 years, and have made friends, but only the one I mentioned above has really become that close. I'd love to meet more girls to hang out with!

In terms of girlfriends - 2 But in terms of the people I know I could always count on, I'd have to add in DH and my 3 siblings.

bride082003 - why are you unlucky? You have 2 wonderful, true friends. You should feel so blessed! 2 true friends are worth 100 fake ones anyday.
I have 2 friends that I met when I was in 4th grade (when I moved to LI) and I consider them my true friends for life. I also consider my sister a true friend. And I have a few other girlfriends (Claud, Stef, Cindy) that I consider true friends and I know would help me in a time of need!
