Hey date twin!
Our RSVP date is April 16. We figured also since it's a holiday weekend, we're mailing the invites early and asking for an RSVP early so people can make arrangements. This will also give us a few weeks to track down anyone before giving a final count to our RH.

My wedding is 7/21 and my RSVP date is 6/07, so it's six weeks. I just wanted enough time to call people if I had to!

I did 2 RSVP dates... I know it sounds weird...
For all the OOT'ers (not just out of state, but out of the country, I am talking like 70 ppl... so it makes a huge difference who comes and who doesn't) I did 8 weeks becuase #1 we are getting married on a holiday week... and #2 they will need to make accomodations early since its a holiday week... and #3 we want to know if they aren't coming... we still have time to send out the invites with the 2nd RSVP to the people on our B list.
Everyone in state RSVP is only 4 weeks before.
People won't know that we are sending 2 rsvp dates becuase it is 2 different sides of the family... I wouldn't do if it was the same side of the family becuase then some people would be like... why didn't I get my invite.
Ok... well I have gone on enough. Thats my story. hehehhehe

mine is 5 weeks since my rh needs the head count 4 weeks before.

I'm going to do 6 weeks because of a small B-list and I might have to change the room my ceremony is in because the list got a little out of hand!!!

we're the odd balls. Our RSVP date is 9 weeks prior to the wedding..... but then again, we also sent out the invitations 4 months in advance.
Most of our guests are out of state or out of country.... so advanced notice was required......

Our RSVP is Sept 20, exactly one month before our wedding.

I'm doing 6 weeks since FH and I live OOT and so do most of the guests.
we did 6 almost 7 for the same reasons

just so you know... I just got 2 more RVSP's yesterday!!!! 3 days before my wedding! and my deadline was 2/3/07!!! like who the hell rsvp's the week of the wedding???

My wedding is April 27th and we picked April 4th b/c its my neices b-day, for good luck so I little less than 4 weeks

I'm getting married the day after you and put mine for April 21.
oh crap - really? I'm getting married the same day as you and I put May 10th!! I didn't know what to put on there but the RH told me they need to know 2 weeks in advance so I did 2 weeks - is that bad???
UPDATE : I just read this from an etiquette website:
RSVP date Your RSVP date should be set at least 3 weeks before your wedding date until this time you may mail additional invites if regrets come in.
