How many work days are you taking off BEFORE the wedding?

Originally, I was going to only take off from Wed-Fri (my wedding was Saturday). I took off a week and that STILL wasn't enough time and I was a bride who thought she had everything pretty much done. I was still doing last minute stuff the day of my RD and didn't have enough time to look as good as I wanted to (aka, I didn't have an hour to straighten my hair ). I would seriously think about taking at least a week if you can. My friend who is getting married this weekend took off 2 weeks and I applaud her for it. She'll be able to just enjoy the time before her wedding and actually relax! (hopefully!)

ETA: I should mention that the reason that I (and my friend) took off so much is because we don't have 9-5 jobs and our schedules are really unpredictable, so it was possible that I'd be at work from 9-10pm or later the week of my wedding. Unacceptable!!!

3 work days! With the Wedding and Honeymoon.. I will almost be off for a whole month!

None before and 2 afterwards. I fly back from Va Friday night, wedding on Sunday, fly back to Va on Tuesday

I'm taking a half day wed and all of Thursday then of course off on Friday for my wedding!

I am working the day before and then taking off two weeks after for our HM.

i'm gonna try to do just one, depending on what's going on at the time, none if i can work it out that way. i'd like to take at least one day off after the wedding (i don't think we'll be going on our hm right after, but we may do a little trip or something). i hate taking off of work though, it stresses me out so that's another reason why i'm trying to limit it. we'll see how the diy projects go! =0P

same here, i'm not taking any days before the wedding on sunday. but 2 days after the wedding. i'm going to be done with my diy projects a week b4 the wedding.

not leaving anything to the last minute, don't need that kind of stress. this coming from a big procrastinator. :)

2. my wedding is on a sunday and i am taking fri off and then there's sat. i hope that's enough!! i am taking 2 1/2 weeks after my wedding, so that's all i can afford to take off!

Right now, just the day before (Fri). I might end up taking Thursday off but, it depends on how many days I will have left at that point and how much I have to do! FH is off the whole week before the wedding so he's going to be doing a lot of the running around for me.

my wedding ona friday night so i will be off the week. i am only taking 2 days before but i only work wed thurs fri and sats .i am off on sun mon and tues

I'm taking 3 but I've heard that may not be enough. Unfortunately, I will be knee deep in a huge project and may not be able to take off more time than that. Can you take more?

Same here -to much to do -company is relocate on the month of wedding and we also just acquired a huge company so busy bee that I am will probably lose some sleep, some hair -and maybe some weight

I'm getting married on a Sunday and am only taking off on Friday - just to get a massage, mani and pedi. My boss told me to take Thursday off too, but I don't think I need to.
