How 'matching' does BM dresses need to be vs RH decor?
Hello everyone. I have a question -- do your BM dresses have to match the RH decor to a 'T?'
for example if you use one shade of blue for your BMs & then you use a different for your placecards, menus, decor etc is that a big deal?
I was thinking of doing more of an ice/antique blue for BM & then aqua for the RH decor -- I'm just afraid it might seem disjointed.
But then again I'm probably totally overanalzying it!!
So what are you matching and how strictly are you matching?

THere's no need to do matchy-matchy...most people prob. wont even notice. I know I wouldnt!

Thanks!! I had a feeling I was just reading way too much into it.
It's hard to find BM dresses in the color to match every thing else I like you know?
It's probably a good idea not to be too matchy anyway.

the colors should compliment each other, so a lighter and darker shade of blue should go together nicely =)

I agree, no need to go matchy matchy. I had my MOH in a different shade of green than my BM and even my dress had a panel that as a different shade of green from everyone else. I felt as long as it was in the same family, It would be okay.. :) And it worked out just fine.

my BM's dresses are different from my MOH (color, style).. and trust me, their dresses doesnt even match the hall!
no -- i didnt pick a color theme.... though, i think that'll make life simplier. HTH

Oh jeez... I totally mis-read your title and thought you meant the BM should match the decor of the room.... like the curtains and carpet. duh I think I need to rest my brain.

seems like i will be good to go if things dont match perfectly. i think i've looked at too many wedding mags!!
so funny can you imagine if i matched my girls to the hall's decor? LOL they would blend into the carpets !! Hahaha!!

i was so against my bridesmaid's matching the table cloths and napkins! dunno why but i just was! lol. my colors were burgundy, ivory and cocoa. girls wore cocoa and everything else was ivory and burgundy. only other things that had cocoa in them were card box and aisle runner.
