Are your girls paying for their BM dresses?? Or if you don't have them yet... what do you think is a reasonable price range. I fell in love with two gowns, but I think they are $$$ and so do my girls. I don't want to put a big financial burden on them especially since they need to still buy shoes and all that...

Re: How much...
My girls paid $240 -- that included alterations and I told them to wear shoes they already have.

Try calling Phyllis at Bridal Elegance. The dress I love is $190.00 everywhere. She got it for me @ $143.00 + alterations (capped at $55).

Re: How much...
this is tough. I think a reasonable price is $200 or so. I fell in love with Jenny Yoo dresses that were $400 but I knew that I couldn't ask them to spend that..... we ended up going to 'Here Comes The Bridesmaid' on 14th street, where they got FABULOUS Alfred Sung dresses for $180. They were thrilled. However, that did not include alterations. They took them to their own tailors for that, which costed $50-$75. Perhaps if you fall in love with a dress that is over $200, you can somehow offer to pay the difference?

Re: How much...
Haven't gotten to that stage yet, but I hope to find something under $100 (not including any alterations) and off the rack if possible. I know I'm probably dreaming...
