How much...

Do you plan to spend on Photography and Video? I recently visited a photographer that I am very interested in, but the quote was a little higher than I thought I wanted to spend. I think we'll end up going with them anyway, but I just wanted to see if the price was within range that most people are spending....

i originally budgeted 5k for both but i now think thats still way too high.... so now im aiming for 3k

We're at $3500 for both, but we're making our own albums, which still shouldn't cost us too much.

I didn't want video and I booked my photog for just under $5000 but it could have been much cheaper...I just really liked the more expensive albums.

Oh my goodness I am afraid to say I am a photography freak - I have over 10,000 pics of me and FH (no joke) so this was something I knew I would spend a lot on - for both photo/video I am spending over 10k but that's soup to nuts...e pics, thank you cards, save the dates, as many DVDS as we want, 1500+ proofs, all day coverage (no OT), 2 photogs, 2 video guys so I don't think its too insane considering everything we are getting but yikes!

LOL don't be worried to say it because I have about the same amnt of pics of me and my FH.....I have my camera at every event and no one else brings their cam cause they know I will capture every moment lol

Well we don't plan on having video, and right now I think the budget is about 3K for a photog. I have a little wiggle room if I fall in love with someone who is a little more expensive though.

Whew I feel better - we are using Autumn Lin - we haven't offically booked b/c she just got back from her honeymoon - she got married on Black Friday at Oheka - she is sooooo excited so its a perfect combo
