I was told by by FSIL limo company that we don't need to tip them, but if we really liked their service to tip them like $20

I was going to do $75-100 per driver is that too much or too little? it's not included in my price.

our limo place told us to tip the driver 20%, which to us seems high since it's only a pick up and a drop off.

Yes most limo companies call it a gratuity but its actually not-technically not.

They say 20% but in no way shape or form was I giving the limo driver $350 just for driving a total of 1 1/2 hours.

We gave him $75

OK - I'm not cheap, but I thought they add 20% on for gratuity?? Isn't that money atleast mostly going to the drivers / people who clean the car?

I agree...We were told a price that included 20% gratuity. I think 20% is plenty!

I haven't figured out how much I'm spendng yet for the entire day on tips (I know I should have this figured out already!!!). BUT...My company uses my limo company for corporate things and they are amazing. Yes I know they already throw in tip...but if they treat me half as well as they do the half witted twits I work with on my wedding day...I'm totally throwing them extra!!!

Usually they figure in 18-20% gratuity in the bill. If not use that range as a base line to calculate your own tip. IF you are happy w/ the service.

thanks girls...I was just getting a round about....I they are not placing it on the bill...so I will have to figure it out...But I think 100 is prob a good number
