are you paying for alterations? Kleinfelds charges a flat fee of 595. Mine will be a little more because I'm going to add more beading. Is that too much? I can take it to another place but then it isnt guaranteed if they make a mistake.
Mine is capped at $250 and $10 per point for the bustle, $15 for french, but they may charge more for the appliques I want to add.
i'm getting mine done at kleinfelds also. its steep but my take on it is they're experts. they're one of the best. and i wouldn't want to risk going elsewhere and having my dress ruined

My friend actually bought and had her dress altered at Kleinfelds. She was very upset with them. Not happy with the alteration dept. at all.

Honestly don't remember the exact story. We were shopping for BM dresses and she was saying that she had to go to the best and was so angry with them in the end. I'm sure you won't have any problems. It just seems so high for alterations!

mine wwre 485 that included detialed french bustle, alterations, and a slip. So, I dont think ur price is too much, but the bustle will be extra? I'd see if they can include it

My alteraltions were free...I just paid $200 for a french bustle
