How much?!

So, my dress has a veil made for it but it's cathedral length which I don't want. So my mom called Pronovias to see how much it would be to buy the lace and then have it made into fingertip length. Well, the lace costs... wait for it.... $1500! That's NOT for mantilla (lace all around) and doesn't include the cost to physically make the veil.

wow Although the lady did say I could stop by to see another girls dress (same designer but the sample was sent back to Spain) and take upclose pics to match it. She'll also recommend lace places.

but really.. $1500 for just lace?!?!?!?

a little off topic: which pronovias dress did you choose (if you don't mind sharing) i looooove pronovias and am very interested in their gowns but don't know much about the fit and quality....thanks!

That's INSANE! Go to Barron's with a pic of your dress. You certainly will not spend $1500 there!

Wow, that sounds pretty expensive.

It is def a lot but I guess designers do this (charge A LOT) when they make a veil for the dress. My veil was made for my dress & it's more than that
