should I tip for a makeup trial at someone's house? The trial is costing $25.

Then, I have another free trial next month...how much should I tip her?

Wow is that an inexpensive trial! Maybe $10? I'd usually say more, but since it's so inexpensive anyway, maybe you should do something relative. 20% is only $5 -- which is really what you'd usually tip, I think.

$5-7?? That would be about 20% right?

you are paying $25 for a trial. thats so unheard of. I guess it really depends on how much you like what she does and how she is. If shes just gonna throw your hair up and hold it with her hand then no $10 would be alot. But if she takes her time and spends over a half hour with you and you love the outcome then no $10 is not alot and your paying nothing for your trial. Its all about the time and service. I'm a hairdresser, so just speaking from experience and what I usually get..

I'd tip her 10 bucks

I agree with the others $10 is fine, $5 if you don't like it... which is still 20%

Kelly from Glam me up. She was extremely patient with me since I changed my mind a few times. I really liked the final outcome, but have another trial scheduled already so I'm not deciding anything until after that.
