Re: How much are invites?
honestly it ranges GREATLY...ive seen ppl on here spend $200-300 on invites. Some spend about 500-800 then others 800-1k...ive also seen many in the 1k-2k range and a few a little over 2k...I wouldn't concern myself with what everybody else spends, just do what you are comfortable with and is within your budget

So do you think that $5.50 an invite is an ok price? its somewhere in the middle i feel like.

Regular, thats why i was getting nervous that maybe i was paying too much. I know the pocketfolds tend to be more.

well are you ok with how much you'll spend on invitations? if so then go for it but otherwise maybe still look at a few more sites and see what else you find.

I personally feel that's a lot of money for regular invites. I'd shop around.

Yours are in the average range. It honestly depends on what you are willing to spend and the type of wedding you are having. If its black tie, you might want to spend a bit more.

Re: How much are invites?
Just make sure that before you commit and order any invites that you order an actual sample. Not just an email proof. You want to be sure that the amount of money you're spending is worth the paper quality and type of printing. I found soooooo many invites online that i LOVED, but when I ordered samples and got them in person I was so disappointed in the quality, i.e. the paper was too thin, the color was dull, flat printing when I thought for that amount of money it should have been raised, etc. So if you haven't received any samples in the mail yet of the ones you're thinking of, definitely do that before you order them for real. Good Luck!

Did they mail you the samples free? or did they charge you for them? (sorry this maybe a stupid question but i have no idea).
