The BA at the Woodlands, along with the Maitre'd were amazing.. I think we did $350 for her, and about $1000 for Maitre'd. We were extremely hapy with how they took notice of our guests with special needs and made sure they had a great time! (I have a legally blind uncle who has trouble walking and I asked them to pay special attention to him -- he was treated like royalty and did not want for anything) I was extremely impressed so we tipped them accordingly.

Our hall recommended $3-5/guest for the Maitre'D and then $50-100 for the bridal attendant. My dad plans to have all the tips laid out in envelopes ahead of time I think, to make life a little easier.
This is the standard from everything I've looked into

$800!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's insane!!!! I am in the wrong business!!!!! I plan on tipping $50-$100. Depends on the great job they do!!!! I think $800 is an outrageous amount!!!!

You may want to look into what your hall recommends and go from there. After looking at my paper work again my hall recommends 3-5 for maitre'd and 75-100 for the BA.
