all the set up for the ceremony(a lot)
10 cocktail table arrangments
escort table set up
20 tables with 1 oversized bella hurricane w/3x9 pillar candle
frame with a pair of glass candle sticks with 18' mechanical candles
place 4 tailored floral arrangments at the four corners of display
and individual votive candle at each place setting

this is a summary of what we gettting. if anyone wants the full list just let me know

We had to use one of the house florists. I guess since the Botanical Garden is a State Park they can get away with it. We really wanted to get married there so , we agreed knowing that flowers were going to be more then we originally wanted to spend.

I am paying I think $335 or $435 can't remember. That's for

4 corsagges
The flowers are nice purple mixtures. I really dont remember what kind (I don't know from flowers)

I am not getting flowers for church and the centerpieces are provided with my hall package.

my fi and i were talking about how much everything is, and we got on the topic of our florist and that we are paying $6,500.
but the way i looked at it was that we are not paying for the hall so we can spend more on flowers, photographers, video and so on, and fi wanted the florist just as much as i did and now he is saying that we are paying way to much. if you don't mind please let me know what you are paying for you florist.

are you using Bayport flower house? they do georgous work.. i looked into them and tehy were very expensive

it is hard to tell what people are paying because we are all getting different things and different numbers of bouquets and centerpieces etc.

Wow that's alot for flowers IMO!

I'm paying less than $2K for all callas and roses, 18 CPs with 16 people in my BP!

Another thing to keep in mind is not only the kind of flowers that you are using but also how many -

We went to a bunch of florists- and alwasy asked how many roses would be in our centerpeices - It turns out the ones that were quoting us at a lower price were giving us less flowers.

you are so right about this... BUT i have to say that is what is so great about BURTON'S..... they charge one price for all flowers (even stephanotis) and they fill up your centerpieces (like teh tall rose centerpieces have almost 3 dozen roses in them) and they still charge less than anyone else

i think they give you the most for your money and i have heard wonderful things about them

$1000-$1200, I'll know exactly just how much next week.

I'm either using roses or tulips

2 MOB/G Corsages
2 Corsages for Granny & Aunt

For the Church:
2 Displays for Altar
1 smal bq for the virgin mary
10-12 pew bows with greenery

For the Reception:

Flowers for the cake
10-12 Small CP's
votives (which I am providing)
CP and petals for placecard table

And since my wedding day is on Mother's day, we thought we might hand on a single rose to each female guest, but I didn't ask for this when i got my orginal quote
