hi, my fi and i were talking about how much everything is, and we got on the topic of our florist and that we are paying $6,500. but the way i looked at it was that we are not paying for the hall so we can spend more on flowers, photographers, video and so on, and fi wanted the florist just as much as i did and now he is saying that we are paying way to much. if you don't mind please let me know what you are paying for you florist. thanks

I have to have 2 florists because my ceremony is in NJ, but the reception is in NY.
But, I think together they will come in under $3,000

Our florist is about $2000.00. We have 9 bms, 8 ushers, bride and groom, 2 sets of parents on my side, one set on his side, my grandparents, flowers for church, flowers for wedding cake, and 18 centerpieces, and throw-away bouquet, arrangement for sweetheart table. --Kelly

$6500 is alot...but what are you getting? I only paid $1400, I had 9 tall CP's, my bo-k, 1MOH, 1 FG, about 6 boutineers and 6 corsages. I also had a chuppah...and lots of rose petals for displays and stuff.

I am paying $430 from Flowers By Emil for: My boo-k MOH boo-k 3 BMs boo-k 8 corsages (moms, grandma, etc.) 9 boutinerres altar piece pew bows with tulle and a rose 2 mini boo-ks
I am getting my c-pieces from my hall. I am getting a dozen roses per table.

my top quote was 5000 but average has been about 3500 for 15 cp.

It is a lot but it totally depends on what you are getting - we havent booked yet - but it looks like we are going to go with a florist that quoted us $5800. We did get a quote of $6300 for the same stuff so shop around a little.
Flowers are VERY important to me so I understand spending a lot - whereas a majority of brides dont have flowers as a major priority.
What does your quote include? What type of flowers? How many Centerpieces? Can you FM me who gave you the quote?

We got flowers for about $1700.00. Flowers only last that day and it is just about the only thing people won't remember.

I dont have the paper infront of me but here is a rough draft from memory.....
1 bridal boquet 1 toss boquet 1 MOH boquet 4 bridesmaids boquets 1 groom bout 5 BM & GM bout's 2 mother coursages (SP?) 2 reader coursages 2 father bout's flowers for the dias flowers for the cake flowers for the floating CH trays flowers/petals for the place card table 20 Tall CP!!!!! 2 or 3 church stand flower things about 4 rows of pew bows
The best part, by far, is that all of these include ANY type of flower i want, the price will stay the same. I mustve asked them about 4 times, ANY flower?? yes, any flowers!!!!!
all of this for $2995.00 (after various discounts etc)
BTW: This was with jack and rose. We spent over two hours talking with him!!! We only went to see one other florist, which quoted us about 3500, but sat there for about 15 minutes while he rushed us through it and that was it!!! FMIL is paying for the flowers, we booked on the spot!!! I am soooo excited for my design session!!!! (even though its so far away )

We are paying $1100.00 including our centerpieces.
My bo-k Moh bo-k Jr. Bm bo-k All boutiners (sp?) Corsages for practically everyone related to us (about 10) Centerpieces (all roses with votives) FG basket
And, I dont have to pick out the flowers or bo'k until we sit together in Aug.

same florist as nsgraham but mine is included w/ venue... I am planning on having him do the bouquets, guys flowers and maybe upgrading flowers but not spending alot more...

wow! some ofyou gor really great deals. I don't have my notes with me- Ithink it will be about $3000, but we didn't go into specifics w/ the church flowers. My place is expensive though, I am just using them b/c I have to for the church.

$2500 ... includeds tooling and rose clusters on every other pew, petals down the side of the runner, fg petals, a chuppah covered in tool with roses on the side, 5 bm quotuets, 1 bride bouquet, 6 coursages, 9 bouts, 20 cp with 2 dozen roses, cake decorations
