That's true!! Hmmm. when i went they immediately offred me the Skylight room. I had to ask for the Dome Room. I wonder why?
We are paying $106 pp for a Sunday night in August. This came with the standard menu, chair covers, extra stations at CH and a pasta dish for the reception. We have a 100 person minimum. I feel as though we could have gotten them to drop the price a bit, but I also feel like we were offered a decent price and we aren't really overpaying.

I don't get that either. We had to fight for the skylight room, literally.
Still, in the end, because we were originally booked in the smallest room with the least expensive menu, we made out like robin hood!

my FSIL got married at JT about 4 years ago - she had the entire skylight terrace room - like Denise (Espo) is doing....when we started talking about where to have our reception i decided to check out JTs page - i saw the dome room and i flipped outFH and I didnt know they had that room and we both really liked it.....we also knew we liked JT b/c his sisters wedding was the best wedding we've both ever been to AND i loved jtgarsiks xmas wedding at JT and i knew i wanted a xmas wedding too - so we couldnt wait to go there and check it out.... we knew we wanted to get married at the RH and i think the skylight room is gorgeous (just didnt want to have my reception in the same room as FSIL did) but i loved that our wedding ceremony would be in there under the skylight....so when we got there i told Rob to show me the dome room and that i didnt need to see anything else
we told him dont even bother with any of the other rooms - we are here for that room and we either book that room or nothing hahahahaha - and of cours we ended up booking that day hahahahaha - so it worked out....after we booked i tried to find brides reviews for that room but i havent seen much on here - im glad that a lot of us in 08 are having JT weddings and there are quite a few dome room brides too....i cant wait for all of our weddings! i love all the rooms at JT and love reading JT reviews!

I knew I wanted the Dome room also, because I had gone to a wedding in that room and was blown away by how beautiful it was! And the bride and groom for that wedding got married in the skylight room also, and it was really beautifully set up! All in all, I might not have gotten the best price, but I wouldn't change it for any other hall because I LOVE JT AND I LOVE THE DOME ROOM![]()

I didn't look at JT either. I'm a Suffolk girl and I didn't want to be married anywhere near Nassau (nothing against it, just wanted to be married in Suffolk).

I am under $90 without service charge and with service charge i am slightly over $100. I think the price we got was really good considering that we having it in the summer and an evening event (so no other wedding party can use our room for the entire day) because we booked late and one of the days we wanted was available.
I am not sure if you ladies know, but a lot of the catering halls are giving big discounts if you book with them under four or five months from the day of your event. We saved about $25 per person at our location. As for the other halls in Long Island, we were offered prices under $80 including service charge at several well known locations. I guess sometimes its pays off to plan late.![]()

CB is awesome. I've been to weddings there and the food is amazing
actually I think it comes out to just over $90 with tax & gratuity
