how much are you spending on STD?

thanks to Bonnie, I fouund invitations I LOVE from the white asile, the STD's that match are $2.00 each, I thought I saw somewhere that someone got theirs from BJ's (not sure which discount store) for much less.

Is $2.00 per std's too much?

Mine were free!!! All I paid for was shipping (which was $4.00!!!)

I got 100 really pretty heavy postcard size/stock from vistaprint.com during Presidents Day sales and they had 100 for free!! They came out AMAZING and I'm going to the craft store to get the magnet sheets to add magnets to the back of them!

Here's what they look like..



those came out nice & the price was right I got that e-mail too, but thought it was a scam

It seems like a lot to me, but I guess it depends on the # of people you are sending them to.

not too much were getting picture ones done from Target. maybe $40-$45 for 100 of them.

First off.. i think those are GORGEOUS!!!

Second.. i made magnet STDs and since they were a DIY they came to less than a dollar a piece

I designed my own postcards on my computer, then uploaded the images to Vistaprint and got 100 postcards for like $40 (I had the 'free' postcards code, but paid for adding my image to the front, adding to the back, and the express shipping option). Also, I realized when I went to mail them out that it was cheaper to mail since they are postcards (only $.24 each instead of $.39). I designed the back like a postcard so I wrote in everyone's address in pretty script, instead of stuffing envelopes and printing on them etc.

Here are pics of the front and back of mine:




ETA: Just as a side note, these are not a 'necessary' thing unless your wedding is on a holiday weekend, or an odd date etc. I wanted to do them because our wedding is on a Friday so we wanted everyone to know in advance and hopefully plan ahead.

Thanks! I thought it was a scam too, but once I went through the process and then looked at my 'shopping cart' they came up as free!!
ETA: I think they still might be having the sales!!

We got the standard postcards (the other option is the oversized postcards). The ones we got are about 4x6' size. Perfect.

I got my STD magnets at Gallaria in Farmingdale (awesome place!). 100 magnets for $72. They came out so nice and they had sooo many to choose from.
