I went to James Cress (I know he is pricey--probably more than most florists-- but I have used him before and no matter what the cost I wanted him b/c to me, the quality of his work is well worth it no matter what).
Flowers have always been very important to me for some reason...
22 tables w/ high candleabra CP's. Mix w/ all red, white, off-white roses and hydrangeas. Very tight, no filler, no BB, no greenery, topiary style.
Sweetheart table: low CP, glass round vase with the same things that are in our reg CP's.
My BO-K is all red roses, about 3 dozen, and very tight again no BB, no greenery.
My girls (four of them) are having all roses-- white, off-white, and red as an accent (about 2 dozen in each). No BB, No greenery.
My FG is having a kissing ball of the same thing the girls are having and my little nephew who is the RB is having a baby red rose! (he's going to look so adorable!!!!)
My Mom and FMIL are both having clutches made (not corsages) of roses and my dad and FFIL will have a single rose matching whatever color they go with--waiting on the final color choice to see what dresses they will choose.
My FH is having a grouping of four stephanotis and the GM are all having a single red rose.
Hydrangeas with white ribbons on the pews at the church and four arrangements of red roses with candles at the church as well.
135 cones of red, white, off white roses mixed to toss when we leave the church.
Small clusters of red roses in little vases for the picture table at the cocktail hour.
A silk repleca of my BO-K to keep forever... YAY!
My total is $5,500
Good luck--meet with a bunch of people. Even though I knew James was my man I still looked at a lot of other places. There was a small price difference but really not enough for me to say it's worth it to go with someone else.
I'm sure everything will look great--don't forget to post pics after your big day of your pretty flowers!!
