i may shorten it to like 10 nights to save some money

a friend of mine told me NOT to cut corners on my Disney honeymoon. They said that this is the ONE vacation you shouldn't do that on, and if there's a difference of a few hundred or a thousand dollars on whether or not we stay longer or stay at a nicer place, to just do it. What's that money in the grand scheme of life? Granted... I'm not going for broke by spending 6000 for a week at the Grand Floridian, but we'll have a nice one bedroom villa with a whirlpool tub and view of Epcot for 4,000, including pretty much everything. Go for it! You don't ever want to say, 'I wish we stayed longer!'.

I think it is 7300 for 11 nights in hawaii. 5 in Kuaui at Fairmont and 6 in Maui at Grand Hyatt. Also comes with convertible the whole time and includes all transfer flights. The only extra is probably like another 1500 between food and excursions. Only do it once, right?

3800 for Secrets Excellence, Mexico, all inclusive for 8 days / 7 nights.
We would have taken off more time if we had more time to take!!!

ours was about $5500 for 7 nights in virgin gorda at bitter end yacht club ( beyc.com) sure, it was pricey... but that was all inclusive and included meals, several snorkeling trips a day and other tours we could go on, unlimited use of the sailboats and small motorboats that the resort had... it was heaven!! the only real extra was the day we rented a jeep to tour around on the other side of the island on our own.... you really only have one honeymoon, and you might as well have no regrets about it

We're thinking about doing a 10 cruise in Hawaii. It'll probably be about $6000 after airfare and extras.

We spent over $9K on our Sandals Grande St. Lucian honeymoon. We stayed inthe honeymoon lagoon swimup room which is one of their more expensive rooms. It was worth every penny! You only live once and you can't take it with you thankfully that includes your credit card debit!
edited to say we spent 10 days (9 nights) at the resort.

We actually just did 5 nights in Aruba, for around $3000 total (airfare, hotel, food and spending money). It's hard for me to take off more than a week, plus we love to travel and didn't want to be broker and not go on any other vacations.
We did pay for the oceanview, which IMO was definatly worth it,

$2,000-11 Day Exotic Southern Carribean Cruise. That also include insurance, no airfare needed, it leaves right out of New York!! I love deals!

I completely agree! After all the money and time and effort behind planning an amazing wedding for our 'new life together,' we felt we should start it off with an equally amazing trip. We've both always wanted to go to Italy so we searched (and searched) for the best pricing we could find and decided to go for it! ( I think we're as excited (if not more) for the honeymoon as we are the wedding itself!

We budgeted $10,000 for the entire HM. We knew we only wanted to do 10 days because we want to have a few days at home before we need to get back to work.
We were looking at a ton of resorts, but for our price range we would have ended up in a regular room. We wanted something special (like a plunge pool or jacuzzi tub) so we held out.
We are going to The Crane in Barbados and it's actually way under our budget. We have a 1 bedroom suite with a private 28 foot infiniti edge pool and a jacuzzi tub for less than $600 a night! Definitely check it out!
but we into town for most dinner b/c I can't stay in one place and like to explore
we proabaly spent another $2k- but that includes all dinners, tips, Jake get scuba cert- $500, Jet skis, ATV ride- cabs into town etc
