I am planning on going away for two weeks. Now it is looking impossible.

We stayed at 2 resorts in St Lucia and spent over $7000 which included everything air fare, spa treatments, 1 of the resorts was an all-inclusive so food was included on half our stay.

wayyyyy too much - FH's parents are big travelers and are paying for our honeymoon (so nice of them), but they really spent a lot on it....

$3700- 11 days 10 nights in Costa Rica. Includes all activites, breakfast every day and lunch most days. We will have to pay for dinners. This does not include airfare, which we paid a little over $600 for one ticket, the other was bought with FF miles. So I would estimate around $5000 for the whole trip.

Oooooh I have a deal that I dream about every night... I can't wait to go!!! It's a cruise to Hawaii... We leave from JFK and fly to San Francisco (we are going a day early so we can see San Fran). Then the boat leaves from there and goes to Monterey, CA. (which is like Napa and San Diego, it's supposed to be beautiful). Then we leave from there, one day at sea, and hit the big island, after that we go to each island of Hawaii. The cruise is 12 days in total and it's offered through Norweigan Cruise Lines. The most $$ part of Hawaii is the food and lodging so this way, we are covered b/c on the boat those things are included. They have a pool, spa, and even nightclubs so between that and Hawaii's activities we'll be busy. Total with airfare (we got an upgraded suite with balcony and honeymoon package, the cruise is advertised as a honeymoon cruise so there will be a lot of people just like us on there!) is about $5,500. (less than our band-- SCARY!! lol). CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Ours is about $6600, including airfare and transfers, for 12 nights in Greece. I had mentioned going for less time to save some $$ and have more than 2 vacation days left for the whole year, and my mom said I shouldn't skimp on the HM. She and my dad went camping for a weekend in a leaky tent for their HM, and SHE's the one who says not to skimp!

So far I've spent 6600.00 on 10 nights in oahu and maui with 3 excursions booked!!!
I'm going on Friday!!!!!
Probably $1500 on food, I eat a lot!!

5500 for cruise (i think)11 days med. cruise 600 for flight- we used american airlines miles though
plus alcohol and excursions and spending money.. so I am figuring around 8000 or so

3 weeks in asia including stays at the Ritz in Singapore - $5000 but used mileage for biz class seats that would have been $9k. The exchange rate helped a LOT!!

about 6800..Disney for close to 2 weeks...that includes tickets, meals, room at the Grand Floridian..etc oh and round trip airfare

$6700 for 10 nights in aruba -- all inclusive resort, top of the line suite. Includes food, drinks, air, transfers, insurance, etc.
I agree with what others said -- it's your honeymoon...supposed to be the trip of your life. But at the same time, you shouldn't break the bank completely. However, if you're contemplating over a few hundred dollars i think you should go for it.
