we are going to greece and it's costing us a little over 8000...that includes air, 2 nights in athens, 3 nights in mykonos, 4 nights in santorini. I think it also includes our breakfast? Doesn't include much! But we figured hey its our honeymoon! When will we be doing this again anytime soon!

We spent 'more than $6000' but we went to Tahiti/Moorea/Bora Bora for 10 days. We also opted to do the half board plan which was breakfast and dinner every day at our resorts, which was great so we really only paid for drinks, lunches, activities. So even though it was , it was fab!

We just booked our honeymoon... 7 nights at Sandal's Regency St. Lucia from Sun. Aug 10th - Sun. Aug. 17th, it was just a little over 4,000, that's all inclusive with airfaire. We're staying in the Honeymoon La Toc Premium rooms which are just new as of 2008!

a LOT. our flights alone are $3k each (business class) but we're doing two weeks, a mediterranean cruise and then italy. So it'll probably be $10k or more
i don't care, i'm more excited for the HM than the wedding day!!

Ours is between $6-7k for 7 nights at Sandals Grande St. Lucian (all-inclusive) and round-trip airfare. Ours might be a little more expensive because we're flying out from NY but returning to a different state (our flights were )
Edit: it also includes the travel insurance for our resort and for our flights -- better safe than sorry.

We are paying for the hotel only and it is costing us a little over $4,000. My father purchased us our airline tickets. We are going to Playa Del Carmen, MX for 9 days at a super all-inclusive

We r doing a week in Aruba at the Hyatt and then a week in Disney. Neither are all-inclusive, but Disney comes with lunch and dinner. We spent $6000, without air.

We are going to Italy and it is $$$$. We got really lucky being that FH's Dad has business points and we are able to fly first class round trip, as well as use hotel points in one of Rome's top hotels. But...our first week in the Amalfi coast is running us well over 6K! Plus, none of that includes food or day trips etc. Rome wont be too bad food wise....but the amalfi coast is expensive. The hotel we are staying in in Rome is so $$$ that i heard it costs 50 bucks for a burger.....i highly doubt we will be eating there....
It is out of our budget, but i wanted this WAY more than the wedding! So we decided to splurge!

FH and I went on 7 day cruise after graduating college and it was LOTS cheaper. We also did the most basic room (and ended up getting bumped up to a mini suite with an oceanview, although there was a big lifeboat blocking 90% of our window it was better than nothing!) and drinks weren't included (only juice and water, soda and alcohol = extra).
We had an amazing time and I wanted to go on another cruise for our honeymoon, but FH nixed it. He wanted something a little more private in a nice room. I loved the all-inclusive part (so we wouldn't end up being stingy about appetizers, drinks, activities to try to save $$) so Sandals was perfect for us. I do think cruises are an amazing value and would be a great way to cut costs while still having an awesome honeymoon.
Edit: logistically for us it turns out a cruise wouldn't have worked for us since we have a Sunday wedding... .

We are going to alaska and it's expensive compared to some other places we looked at. I think air will cost us $1400 (EEEEK!) and hotel about $700 -- and I am hoping we can get by with $2000 in spending money (food, excursions like dog sledding, trip to arctic circle, etc ... ) so that the whole thing costs about $4000. I will have half saved by the wedding. The rest - hope FH has something saved or it's going on a credit card!
ETA: we are going for 6 or 7 nights, depending on air prices/arrival times - it takes over 12 hours to get where we are going so I have no idea when we'll get there!

My HM falls under the 'more than $6000' We're doing a 12 day trip - 5 day land, 7 day cruise to Alaska. The cruise is all inclusive, the land includes the hotels and transportation. I'm using my air miles for the air flights which cut down $1500! But all the excrusions (dog sledding and helicopter) etc will have me pushing $10,000!!!

I JUST got off the phone with American Airlines about booking Hawaii. We have miles to pay for one roundtrip flight, so the one we're paying for, plus hotel, car rental, tours, and food puts us... let's just say at the 'over $6000' mark.
