We are going to Italy and it is $$$$. We got really lucky being that FH's Dad has business points and we are able to fly first class round trip, as well as use hotel points in one of Rome's top hotels. But...our first week in the Amalfi coast is running us well over 6K! Plus, none of that includes food or day trips etc. Rome wont be too bad food wise....but the amalfi coast is expensive. The hotel we are staying in in Rome is so $$$ that i heard it costs 50 bucks for a burger.....i highly doubt we will be eating there....

It is out of our budget, but i wanted this WAY more than the wedding! So we decided to splurge!

We are going to Italy too!! So that puts us in the over 6k catergory. We are going to Venice, Rome, and Florence the first week and spending the second week in the Amalfi coast!

We are doing a flight from JFK to Vegas, staying one night in Vegas, then flying to Hawaii and staying for 13 days. Then flying 1st class from Hawaii back to NY.

Out of pocket, this is costing me and FH around $5k, but for 10 days of the trip we are staying at properties owned by FH's parents' timeshare company. So $5k is covering our flights, all of our interisland flights, a few activities, and 4 days hotel.

ok...i misread the question so I voted wrong anyway, we are going to French Polynesia for 11 days, 10 nights so we are spending a pretty penny.

Ours is costing about $6300- 8 days/7 nights in St. Lucia-Grand (All Inclusive) in the Penthouse honeymoon Concierge room and including travel insurance and flights both ways.

CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

Brazil is pretty cheap- the flights are expensive though. We are spending $6000 I believe. I can't wait!!!

I forgot to add that it includes bfast and dinner and afternoon tea. Lunch isn't included but from what I read, tea has sandwhiches and a bunch of other foods so you dont have to worry about lunch. And drinks are not included, but they are super cheap. $1.50 for a beer and $2 for a mixed drink. Not bad for a 5* hotel!! We had also priced out the caribbean and it was going to cost us the same, so we figured we would go somewhere farther for our HM and save the caribbean for another time.

Oh and I know our price seems a little high but for Sandals but that's because FH and I really wanted a room that included room service and we both fell in love with this room. The other rooms would have been a lot less expensive!

People always have to pay more for a presidential room! Im sure it'll be awesome! FH's sister just got back from the grande and LOVED it!!

What airline are you using?? A night in Vegas on the way to Hawaii sounds great!

We are actually doing 2 hineymoons----the first one in like a 5 day trip to Vegas (since we are during hurricane season) and then in November, we are going to Puerto Vallarta for 7 nights/8 days
Everything including air comes to like 6k---thankfully his parents let us use their time share on the strip for Vegas--so that costs like nothing and my sister and BIL are picking up the hotel tab for Puerto Vallarta!!!!!

We are flying Delta to Vegas, but then from Vegas to Hawaii we are flying Hawaiian Air. Hawaiian Air has phenomenal ratings in terms of food, service and timeliness so we really wanted to fly with them, but they only fly from West Coast airports in the US. So that made it ultra convenient to stop in Vegas, which we wanted to do anyway. On the way home, there were no direct flights to NY, so again, we are flying Hawaiian to LAX and then changing bak over to Delta at LAX (since even if we flew Delta all the way, we'd have to switch planes at LAX anyway).
