So, a good friend of mine is 'hooking me up' with his photographer friend who is just getting started in the business. I am all for this because I have seen his work (which is beautiful) and so far he has done only 2 weddings and each of the albums were wonderful. Not to mention, as a friend of a friend and someone getting started in the business...I THINK the price should be right!! So he sent me his price list and, while he said it is negotiable, I was a little taken aback!
Anyway, if some of you can give me a range of what you are spending and what the package consists of, this would REALLY help me. Thank you soooo much!!!

between 3K and 4K depending on the albums we choose. That's for 2 photographers and an assistant, as many 4x6 and 5x7 photos as we want, a CD with all pictures, and all proofs that are not stamped proof across them. Plus a 60 page (I think) album.

I am paying $3000 which includes a full day [eight hours] of unlimited pictures. I get all proofs which are 4x6 and all negatives. There will be about 1,000 proofs. I am using Christina Bohn. She is very very talented and so nice. She is in Centereach. This price does not include albums but you can make them later for an additional cost if you want. I was so impressed by her work that I switched my wedding date to make sure I could use her. www.christinabohn.com

4300 for a videographer, 2 photographers, 60 page album, engagement shoot, 20 5x7's, 1 16x20, 2 11x14,5 8x10, 75 thank you's, Raw footage, 3 edited dvd's up to five chapters, all proofs and negatives on a cd.

4000$ for a 100 picture digital album Like way over 700 proofs, 1 11x14, 2 8x10, 12 wallet, 1 8x10 engagement picture

Same here, but we're paying a tad under $3000, we must have booked her before her 2006 prices went up!!!
