So, a good friend of mine is 'hooking me up' with his photographer friend who is just getting started in the business. I am all for this because I have seen his work (which is beautiful) and so far he has done only 2 weddings and each of the albums were wonderful. Not to mention, as a friend of a friend and someone getting started in the business...I THINK the price should be right!! So he sent me his price list and, while he said it is negotiable, I was a little taken aback!
Anyway, if some of you can give me a range of what you are spending and what the package consists of, this would REALLY help me. Thank you soooo much!!!

i know my package is way over 2,000. i don;t have the paper that tells me what i am getting but i know alot, all proofs, make sure u get, and negitives, u want a big picture of you both, thanks at least 100 or whatver u want, i belive we got a album with 100 pictures in sizes 8'10 i think.ummm if i rem. more i tell u

it's hard for me to say right now. we booked just the proofs and CD package. but we will be doing a digital album with the photographer at a later date (when we have more $$)

for photo & video we are spending about $7500. We get a 72 (8x10) image album & 2 (5x7) 24 image album for parents. 2 photographers & 2 videographers. 1 16x24 picture, 2 8x10s, 1 engagement picture. all proofs, & proof cd. As many thank yous as I want. Photographers are unlimited for entire day. we are also getting a 60 min dvd & 2 parents dvds & of course an unedited version. I think there is more but i am not sure.

edited video digital style album but with actual photopaper (100 images) parent albums 24 images (i think) 5x7 for each BP member e-shoot 3/4 8x10's i think a 20x 20 a couple of brag books (took out the folios for more images in fh ad my album) cd of raw images 8x10 engagment pic all proofs (i pretty sure are 4x6's) unlimited thankyou's cant remember what else...
but most seem to charge around 1500 if you just want the photographer and proofs (maybethe negatives/raw images too)
not including video... that is 1600 in our package..
