How Much are you Spending on Your Wedding Photos?

As my FH and I start to search for a good photographer, I stopped to ask myself that very same questions? How much should I really spend on my wedding photos?

My FH and I were sitting down discussing this over the past weekend and I reminded him that although the DJ is important and the entertainment makes our family and friends have a good time, the pictures are forever!! And I love good, quality photos.

What's the average are you guys spending on photography?

i love the articles!!!! :) FH and I are spending 3100. For us, that includes 2 photographers, full day coverage proofs, slide show, editing, an album for us and the e-shoot. It doesn't include albums for our parents! i thought it was pretty reasonable!

I'm spending 2500 for 2 photographers 1 ast. All day coverage. Every image is retouched. But no albums. Can purchase those later

We are spending $3100 for two photographers for 10 hours. All photos will be retouched. This doesn't include albums but I will most likely purchase them later too!

I'm spending 2,000 for 1 photographer for 6 hours including the flush mount album and 200-300 prints edited.. he puts all of my pictures on a server for me so i can order however many i want after that through either him, or shutterfly, etc.

$3500 1 photog. 10 hours. Glass cover album. 2 parent albums. And all of the edited proofs on a disc. And we got 'a deal' bc we're using them for video, dj and photobooth as well.

Now I feel bad on how much we are spending lol. Ours is $4,250? (with a discount)& that is only for him for the entire day and an assistant. Nothing else. BUT, he is my dream photographer so we splurged on him.

I havent even signed yet.. Still researching company and feeling for more quotes.. But it was an email special I got from Artisan.. I tweaked it it included a eshoot but I wanted mroe thank yous instead.

Dont second guess yourself it is your dream photographer.. obviously your gut is telling you something!!!

I know he will be worth every single penny. Just wish that it included something..anything lol. I shouldnt complain, I am lucky to have him for the discounted price!
