How much are you taking off for your wedding?

This is my latest dilemma. Our wedding is on a Sunday so I'm thinking maybe Thursday, Friday before and Monday, Tuesday afterward. We're waiting a few months for our HM.

I think you need to figure out what you need to do before the wedding and see how much time you will need.

are you having a rehearsal dinner?
Do you need to drop off OOT bags at the Hotel?
Do you want to get your nails done? Eyebrows? Tanning?
Which vendors do you need to have a final meeting with?

I am taking the whole week, but I'm getting married on Friday with my rehearsal on Thursday.

My wedding is on a Saturday and im taking off wed, thurs and fri and then 2 weeks after for our HM.

We are in the same boat. Not sure yet. We are getting married Thanksgiving weekend so we have those 2 days off so I may take Wednesday and Monday & Tuesday. We aren't leaving on our honeymoon until February.

I only took the day before the wedding and the day of. I work for a doctor and we're open on Saturdays.

I'm getting married on Saturday. I'm just taking Friday - and then the whole following week (honeymoon) and then Monday/Tues of the following week. So, in all 8 days total, but again, we are going on a Honeymoon right after.

You should be fine with what you are planning!

my wedding was a friday - i took off wed, thurs, fri and then 2 weeks for the HM. my boss was not happy, but that was the bare minimum i could do. wednesday was all about me decompressing and running last minute errands (dropping off OOT bags at hotel, dropping things off at RH, last minute payments, etc.). thursday i got a mani/pedi and approved my centerpieces at the florist, and RELAXING!

i had my RD the week before my wedding (the friday night before) - i didn't take off that day but i only worked till 3 and the rehearsal started at 7. just went home to shower and beautify myself

I am getting married on a Sunday, so I am taking off that Friday and then leaving for a honeymoon for about 10 or 11 days after the wedding.

My wedding is a Saturday ... I can probably get away with just taking off one day before, but I'm going to take off Thursday and Friday just so I don't feel rushed. Then probably the following 2 weeks for honeymoon ... we want to go away for 10 days, and I don't want to get home on a Wednesday and go to work the next day. So, 12 days total ... lucky for me, I just found out my vacation time increased this year at my job! ;)

I worked up until the Wednesday before my Friday wedding, and only worked a half a day on that Wednesday.

As of right now I have the day (I work Nights) before my Saturday wedding. I took a total of two weeks. Not sure what my fh is doing. He may not be in the same job so not sure when our honeymoon will be. I may take a few more nights off before just to do last minute things and have a RD etc.

My wedding is on the Fri after Labor Day, so I'm banking on getting some things done that long weekend. I'm taking off just Thurs and Fri and then the entire next week and hopefully a couple extra days for our HM.

I took off the full week before and week and a half after the wedding. We had a Friday night wedding. We left on a one week cruise the Sunday after. I went back to work the following Wednesday.

I have a lot of time saved up at my job so I am taking 3 weeks total. The week before, and then 2 weeks after for HM.

My wedding is a Friday, I was originally going to take of Wed, Thus and Friday. Schools are closed that week for Easter/passover, though, so FH is off (teacher). So I decided to take the whole week off and really relax and enjoy it!

Going back to work on Monday though, since FH has to tough it out, I said I would too. :) If we do a honeymoon it won't be until summer.

Being that I am a teacher, I can only take off a few days. We are getting married during a break for this reason. We didn't want to wait til Summer 2013 when I actually have off.

My wedding is on a Sunday also. I will take off the Friday before (Thursday also if needed) and hopefully 11 days after the wedding for the HM and a cpl of days to just relax at home before back to work.
