How much are you taking off for your wedding?

This is my latest dilemma. Our wedding is on a Sunday so I'm thinking maybe Thursday, Friday before and Monday, Tuesday afterward. We're waiting a few months for our HM.

RD is Friday, so I'll be taking off that day. Wedding is Sunday, will be taking off the following 4 days. We' not sure when we're going on HM yet

I am having a summer wedding and FH and I are both teachers so we are taking off 8 weeks!

I'm getting married on Saturday. I'm just taking Friday - and then the whole following week (honeymoon) and then Monday/Tues of the following week. So, in all 8 days total, but again, we are going on a Honeymoon right after.

You should be fine with what you are planning!

Same here minus the mon/tues.

I'll probably do the same.

I am a teacher...we got married in oct when school just started so I only took off the friday before and monday after. I wish I could have had more time....but that was all I could swing

We're getting married during Columbus Day weekend, so I might take off the Friday before, but I'm not sure yet - it's hard because we're a) both teachers and b) work in the same school. We're waiting for our HM, too. I would take off a few days prior if I could get away with it, though

I only took the day before the wedding and the day of. I work for a doctor and we're open on Saturdays.

My wedding is a Friday, and I had planned to just take Wed, Thurs and Friday. But I figured I'm not going to be productive at all at work mon/tues and my sister has off from school all week so I just took the entire week to really enjoy it and not feel rushed with my last minute tasks.

Our honeymoon is going to be in the summer. :)

My wedding is a Sunday as well, and we're taking our honeymoon a few weeks later. Due to the limited vacation days I get, I'm planning on taking the Friday before the wedding and hopefully Mon.- Wed after.
Then I'll be taking a week off about a month later for our honeymoon.

My wedding is on a Saturday and I'm planning to take the week before off. I have a lot of family coming into town. And then 1 1/2 weeks after the wedding for the HM.

My job is very flexible, so I'm saving up as much time as i can and they already know I want to take 2 1/2 weeks.

Just got my approval for 3 weeks! I've been with my company for 7 years so I have the time but wasn't sure if I could take that many days!

Having a Saturday wedding. Taking off the full week before and the 2 weeks after!

I am taking Thur and Fri before off my wedding on a Saturday. I might take Mon off after I haven't decide and not sure how much trouble there going to give me since Spring break is the week after. (I work in a school)
