Yesterday 2 of my BM's and I went dress shopping. I plan on going with all of the girls next month, but wanted to narrow our choices down to 2 before then.
Had a GREAT experience at Bridal Reflections of Carle Place. Walked right in without an appointment (I was nervous they'd turn me down since it was a saturday..but they didn't) and Tatiana was SO helpful. It helped that my dress was there- so each time the girls tried on a dress they stood next to it to see how it looked.
We narrowed it down to 3 dresses, all which I love! Only problem is that 2 of the dresses are $270/$275. They'll get a discount since I got my dress there- so it will come out to be around $250.
Is $250 too much? I've spent about that much on the weddings i've been in. But, I still feel incredibly guilty. How much are your BM dresses?

I don't think it's that much. I haven't looked from BM dresses yet but I'm in a wedding next month and we spent $230 and all the girls were fine with that.

I just went BM shopping yesterday and the dresses we pulled where $220-$260 before the discount for buying my dress at the salon. I tried to keep it as low as possible for the girls, but I think people know what long gowns are usually over $200.
I hear you though on feeling guilty - I keep trying to find ways to cut some type of cost for them. I told them they didn't have to get ready with me and could go to whoever they wanted for hair and makeup in case they either didn't like who I was using or it ended up being too expensive. I hope that that flexibility will help offset some costs for them.

Ours come to $227 with tax. The price of the dress is $209

mine are short chiffon dresses originally the price was 189 i think it came done to 179 and came to 191 with tax.

we went to burton's and got various bill levkoff styles between 140 and 175 with tax... those were the best prices i found for BL dresses!

The wedding I'm in at the end of August was $350, but part of her gift to us was that she paid a portion of the dress. I wouldn't have minded spending it though since she's my best friend. My BM dresses are $200 but since I'll likely get my dress there the will end up being $180, I think $200 with tax.

We went yesterday the dress we got was discounted to $129 and they had 20 dollar s off coupons so the girls paid 115 total.

I think that price is fine. Is it a long dress? My BMs dresses were originally that price but they were having a trunk show so my girls ended up spending $170 each with tax which is right where I wanted to be.

Mine are short chiffon dresses. They are $159 +tax. I got them at Burton's and they were $30 cheaper then Bridal Reflections

My bridesmaids spent $120 on their dresses but I have been in a few weddings where I paid about $250 for my dress.

Mine were long chiffon dresses too. What's the designer? You can always go to their website to look when a trunk show is around you.

Mine were long chiffon dresses too. What's the designer? You can always go to their website to look when a trunk show is around you.
