Yesterday 2 of my BM's and I went dress shopping. I plan on going with all of the girls next month, but wanted to narrow our choices down to 2 before then.
Had a GREAT experience at Bridal Reflections of Carle Place. Walked right in without an appointment (I was nervous they'd turn me down since it was a saturday..but they didn't) and Tatiana was SO helpful. It helped that my dress was there- so each time the girls tried on a dress they stood next to it to see how it looked.
We narrowed it down to 3 dresses, all which I love! Only problem is that 2 of the dresses are $270/$275. They'll get a discount since I got my dress there- so it will come out to be around $250.
Is $250 too much? I've spent about that much on the weddings i've been in. But, I still feel incredibly guilty. How much are your BM dresses?

we went to burton's and got various bill levkoff styles between 140 and 175 with tax... those were the best prices i found for BL dresses!
Yes! Burton's had the best prices for the two Levkoff long chiffon dresses we got too. Ours were about $175 plus tax. Their alterations cap was low too, which my BM's were very happy about.

Yes- the specific one they tried on (style NZ3377) was $270! But, just found out they're having a trunk show at BR on LDW!
For girls using Burtons- I've heard alteration nightmares from 2 brides. Apparently dresses were hemmed the wrong way and way too short. Just a heads up for when the girls get their alterations done!

Noir by Lazaro has a trunk show coming up at bridal reflections in carle place. I got an email about it. It's either this weekend or next. Not all of your girls have to be there to get the discount. As long as one places the order, then you get it for the rest of your girls.

My girls dresses were jim hjelm (same design group) and they were $250. The long ones I'd say range from 220-280. Some might even be around 300.
You can check out wedding center in commack. They carry those dresses. My mom got a noir by Lazaro dress there for 220 and it's usually like 250.

I never heard negative alterations reviews. if they didn't wear the correct shoes when they got their dress altered that could be why... my cousins wedding is in october and the girls are currently doing alterations there now. So far, haven't heard anything negative, but i will definitely take a good look at their dresses at her wedding! lol
