That's probably about where my bms dresses are at, give or take.
I think if it's too much depends on your bms - I only have two - one is my 17 yo sister, and my parents are paying for her dress, and the other is a close friend of mine who only has herself to take care of, so while she can't toss money around, she's also not really strapped for cash.
If your bms are people who are short on money, have families to support, etc, then you may not want to ask them to spend so much.

Mine are $175. SInce I got my whole attire there (Bridal Reflections) They reduced the price from 195 to 175. Alterations capped at $75.00

My girls dresses are $171 + tax (so $190) Alterations $55
I think it depends on your BP. Ages, jobs. You know them best. Would it be a financial strain to pay that? B/c remember it's not just the dress they're paying for......it's the bachlorette party, bridal shower (maybe), gifts (shower and wedding), shoes, makeup, hair, etc.
So, do I think $200 is astronomical......no. I wouldn't have a problem with it and I don't make a ton of money. But that's just me.

That seems reasonable..(if its in their budget) but I think thats not bad at all. My MOH dress was $150 and the BMs were like $120...dont know about alterations yet

dresses $135.. Alterations capped at $55..
I felt guilty asking the girls to pay more than 150 for their dress.. I know my BMs are all in different financial positions.

My BM dresses were $155 minus 10% discount and the alterations are capped at $70.

Mine are $145 + tax dress if they are getting the shawl (optional) $45.00 + tex $70.00 cap on alterations (plus my Bridal party received 10% off since I ordered my dress from the same place...)

That price is ok...My BM's dresses are $165 and they are getting their alterations done elsewhere. It may cost them about $50 to get altered....

$170 for the dress. THey did their alterations on their own at their own tailors.....so I'm not sure how much those costed.

The girls dresses came out to 157 after tax and discounts. Alterations will vary. It really depends on yours/theirs financial situation. I think it seems resonable, but it might be a bit of a strain on some ppl. Also you could prob only go down about $50 or so. So in the end you might be splitting hairs! Get what makes you happy, and just remeber they said 'Yes' and you would do it for them!
