do you think 200, no tax, and a 55 alteration price is asking too much?

No, I dont think that price is asking too much. Average BM dresses are abour $200 before alterations. Mine were separates, but were about $180 but they had to buy the gloves which were $22. and none of my girls got it alterted at Davids Bridal b/c they were too expensive.

They were on sale at David's Bridal for $99! No idea about alterations.

I think it depends on your BMs...it would definitely be too high for mine.
I chose a designer that has a lot of dresses, and Phyllis can give me most of them for $109 each. add $50 for plus size (for one girl) $55 for alterations $40-50 for shoes,
and you start getting up there. None of my girls are in the financial situation to handle that.

200 (but that was after a discount-- so we are getting dresses that retail for like 280 for 200) and then the alterations cap at 40 bucks.
