How much are your bridesmaids paying?

How much are your bridesmaids paying for their dresses & what is the alterations cap?

I called a bunch of places trying to find the cheapest price for the dress & I am curious to see what else everyone else is having their bridal spend on their dresses

My BM's got our dresses from J.Crew, we ordered a bunch online and got different sizes. They were having an amazing sale and they were only $85!!!

I haven't looked at BM dresses at all yet (only online), but I don't plan on making them spend more than $200. This might sound dumb, but I didn't even think of alterations for BM dresses...isn't it just like a normal dress that comes in different sizes? I might have to drop the amount below $200 in that case, esp considering that one of my BMs (FSIL) is getting married a few months before me and obv has a fair amount of wedding expenses for herself (I'm also her BM so I'm hoping she considers this for me, too!).

Mine is 215 for the dress with a 75 dollars alteration cap

My girls dresses range from $118-$122 because we are getting them from RK Bridal No Frills, and by ordering them all together, we pay no shipping, and by having them sent to my FILs in NJ, no tax!!! They will all do their own alterations wherever they choose since they live in 4 different states....
