How much are your bridesmaids paying for their dresses & what is the alterations cap?
I called a bunch of places trying to find the cheapest price for the dress & I am curious to see what else everyone else is having their bridal spend on their dresses

My girls are paying 200 for their dresses plus whatever cost of alterations.
The dresses themselves cost over 200 but as part of my gift to them, I am covering the cost over 200.
I asked them all before we decided on dresses how much they would be comfortable spending.

Since I bought my dress at the boutique, the girls got a discount on their dresses there, so with the discount it's about $225 per dress than the alterations are capped at $75.

i am trying to keep the dresses to around $150 plus the cost of alterations - i think that is reasonable.
the dress i like has even gone on sale a few times so i am hoping it will go on sale again when they are ready to get their dresses!

my girls got different dresses so 1 is paying $125, 2 are paying around $140 and the other is paying $190 The alterations are capped at 85 I believe

I tried very hard to keep the dresses under $200 even though they said that they would be okay with that amount. Their dresses came to $175 WITH tax included and their alterations are capped at $75 I believe. This is at Paradise! They have a very large selection.

i'm pretty sure they spent about $180 for their dresses - they each got them altered in different places so i'm not sure how much they spent in alterations

$115 - Davids Bridal... they got their alterations done themselves so i dont know what they paid

They're paying $180 for their dress and their alterations cap at $80. Not bad at all.

My BMs are getting their dresses at David's Bridal. I'm letting them pick their own style, so I think it's between $100 - $120 for them.

My girls are paying $155, and the cap on alterations is I believe $65. Once I found the dress I liked, I shopped around to see who would give me the best price. I found the dress at one salon, and ordered it where I got my dress from, and he gave me a good price because of it. So just because they don't have it in stock to try on, doesn't mean that they can't order it for you.

my girls are paying anywhere from 125-175. alterations are capped at $60

their dresses came out to around $155-$160. Alterations depended on what they needed done and the place we ordered from doesn't do alterations so they had to take them to their own seamstresses. My SIL had hers altered for $35 while a few others had to spend more since the dresses were ordered way too big.

Because I have so many girls (10) they gave us a discount... so the dresses were only $165 and then they cap the alterations at $75.

dresses were 190 with alt cap of 85 I paid most of their dresses so some are getting away with only paying for alterations
