Hey Ladies, Just went to look at flowers today. How much did you or are you going to spend on flowers? What did it include (for who and what type of flowers) and where'd you go?

flowers is something were the price REALLY varies, depending on season, flower type, high or low centerpiece, etc etc
i knew a person that spend 2,000$ and also someone that spent $7,000 ..each were beautiful in its own way

We are with sugar magnolias and are getting: 1 peony bo-k (for me) 2 mixed flower BM bo-ks (ivory rose eucalyptus lady's mantle and green hydrangea) 8 mixed flower centerpieces 4 corsages 5 boutenieres 1 (free) ladies room centerpiece 18 hydangea / bow pew decorations
about $1500

very true, to go by what someone else paid is very hard, unless you are doing same flowers as them and the same amount of flowers.
If a flower is in season obviously it will be less, if its not in season then it will cost alot more, so you have to consider what flowers are in season during your wedding, unless you really want them and want to spend more...Certain flowers regardless obviously will be more money. Roses are a cheap alternative since they cost less than most flowers.
Also whether you are getting high or low centerpieces.
also how many bouquets total you are getting, boutinieres for the guys...Flowers for mom, FMIL, dad, FFIL, flower girl, ring bearer...How many pew bows at church, and other floral arrangement at church.
If you are getting cake flowers, alot of people also ask for flowers at their home to have displayed day of the wedding.
