How much did everyone spend on their couch? - re: Crate & Barrel furniture

The coach I like costs $1700 - but i am wondering if that is too much for a couch -

The matching chairs are $1200 each

they are from crate & barrel - does anyone have any experience with furniture from there?

Thanks for the response!! THey actually already discontinued the coach I wanted - it was the same coach but the material was solid color - it now comes in a stripe material - but i still like it - this is the one - its called veranda

Oh, it is a lovely, fresh look! We ggot a number of items for our home from C+B and have been very pleased with quality and durability. Get everything satinguarded before it leaves the factory -- much more cost effective that way.

I am going through the same thing. The couches we like from Pottery Barn and Crate & Barell are $4k+. We could spend less and go to Macys or other stores but we don't like anything as much as the expensive ones.

I think we are going to go with the more pricey ones...in the long run I think we will be happier with them...at least I hope!

we got ours from the ABC Carpet & Home warehouse outlet in NJ- (Hackensack I think)- 1400 for the couch and $1000 for the overstuffed chair they are made to order and you have your choice of fabrics (prices vary w. fabrics).. you can also get a sleeper.

we bought a couch and loveseat from C&B about 5 years ago. we never had a problem and are still very pleased w/ the quality.

however, after seeing the couch and chairs you posted, i want new couches. i LOVE them. very classic and elegant.

i would suggest calling C&B to inquire about the discounted pattern. perhaps one of the outlet stores has it in stock.

I have the same problem - i like how this couch is just different - and i havent seen anything close to it!

we got our living room couch from Pottery barn - it was about 1200 I think.

We have a C and B sectional couch in our family room that my husband had in his apt. prior to our getting engaged. I think it was about 5k - but it is sooo comfy and durable.

In addition my bedroom furniture is all C and B and we love it!!
