spend on your invites?? I just want to have an idea of how much is reasonable for a pocket fold wedding invitation. I heard about $4.00 per invite, does this sound right?? TIA

$4.00 per invite is good for a pocketfold invitation. Many i've seen where higher than that.

I spend WAY more then I anticipated. We ended up spending around $800 for only 125 invites.
They are pocketfolds with are more expensive plus every 'card' you need like reply, reception info, ceremony info, directions, accommodations are an additional cost.
so deceiving at first!

I spent probably half that much, but it wasn't a pocketfold. If you're looking to save money, check out DB website. They really do a nice job!!! I've been getting so many compliments on mine

I spent $6 per invite. I had 250 invitations with 2 inserts (one for wedding and one for reception), 250 RSVPs with pre-printed return envelope, and 250 thank you cards with the same design as the invitation.

I know Tessa charges around 750 for 150 invites. If you DIY, it is around 350 (150 invites) or so people keep telling me. I am crafty and have a lot of patience, so I am going to...try...a DIY pocketfold. Lets keep our fingers crossed!!!!!!
But hey, if you find a place that does pocketfolds for $4 per invite, let me know! That's worth it!!!!!!!

She said $4.00 per invite was the starting price for PF invites and we could try to keep it at $4.00. But, I'm sure that's for simple invite with no extras that would make it look really nice. If it DOES stay at this price range, I'll FM you and let you know....

I had scrolls so maybe $5-6 each. I had bought the scrolls $3 each and then I had to buy tubes to mail it, and I bought fiber paper to wrap it up to add the addresses.

Well I decided to save money on my invites, so I got bulk invites that can be found at Party City for $25, but bought them at Jack's in the city for $9.99. They are 50 invites & envelopes, 50 reply cards & envelopes. You print them out yourself . The ones I bought have a beautiful raised heart design that runs throughout the border of the invite insert. I plan to print in color the lettering on the invite and possibly wrap it in a color ribbon. I am on a budget and I thought I could use the money to fund something else. I have attached an example similar to what I got.
