How much did you guys tip your dj, photo and video?

I tried searching tipping threads but didn't find anything recent, everything was from 2005. how much did you guys tip your dj, photographer (i have 2) and videographer?

$200 photographer
$200 videographer
$200 DJ

I think I over tipped them. I thought I had a DJ & an MC. I gave $100 each but then found out it was the same person so I think he was tipped twice. My mom also tipped my photographer and videographer $50 each. She thinks that if you tip them at the beginning of the day they'll work harder.

DJ: 450 (they are 6 staffers so it came to 75 per person)

Video: 200 (2 guys - the full day guy got 150, guy we had for 4 hours got 50)

Photo: 300 (2 guys - 150 each)

we had one photog who we thought was suppose to be awesome, sadly, i hate my photos: $150

dj $50 and assistant $50 (i wish we gave more, they were so good)

I plan on tipping $50-$75 for each.

I tipped the DJ and MC each $100 each

I tipped the photo and video guys $50 each that night - my theory on the tips with them was they could be so sweet - but what if my pics or video come out like garbage? To me, their service isn't completed until I get my finished product. Like with the DJ, I tipped them at the end of the night, when the music was all done.

So with the photo and video, I didn't want to tip all up front not knowing what the end product would be, so that's why I gave $50 each. Now that I've seen my photos, I plan to give another tip on top of that when I go into the studio to do my album - and I do trust that they will give him the money.

As for the video, I also plan to tip more, however, I think there are parts of my video missing - a lot of the bridal party said they talked to the camera with a special message yet none of that is on tape - so I'm not sure what happened. I plan to call the place and find out. But if they can't find the missing footage, then that will affect the remaining tip I plan to give.

MC/DJ - 175
helpers - 100 each

photog - 150

video - 150

I would have given them more but we already made the tip envelopes and at the end of the night I really wasn't thinking.... Alfonse just gave them the envelopes....

I would have given our MC $500. He was so great!
