FMIL went ahead of me & bought MY band. FH was with her so he got to pick what he wants... after some drama, i got mine changed to what i like. His is 18k white gold with 5 princess cut total of 1carat. I wouldve prefered a plat but I got a beautiful 18k 5 solitaire total of 1carat. Each costs around 2k bec of the stone quality & gold weight.

i have no idea whether that's overpriced...but we both paid under $100 for our bands. no diamonds, no frills, just gold.

FHs is 1500 - plat band w/ glossy and matte finishes

they is really no answer for this. and gold is through the roof right now so anything just gold is gunna be a lot anyway. you have to compare the same ring at a different store to see what the price diffence is.
