This is FHs wedding band. Its the Lucida wedding band in platinum & is 4.5 mm wide. Cost was $1,600. Absolutely worth every penny.

Re: How much did you pay for....

My Mom is a retired jeweler, so I got my E-ring through her old partner, but I actually found the matching wedding band $100 cheaper than the diamond district offered me. So I ordered my ring on this website It came 2 day air. No taxes, no shipping fee, full appraisal for $1,400, etc. Mom Dukes checked it out when it came. I insured it.... The jewler store I ordered it from is in New Jersey. I could have just driven there, but I am lazy. I had it shipped and I love it. I can't wait to wear it!!!

Re: How much did you pay for....

Our rings together cost $350

we bought them in florida on mother's day, so we got 50% off at the tanger zales in Fort Myers,

mine is solid white gold with six diamonds, small, and his is plain white gold.

we were happy with the price in rings. i have no pic though :(

Re: How much did you pay for....

My ring didn't cost much, I had my grandmother's wedding band reset, so its priceless in my eyes, its has about 10 diamonds, thin white gold band.

DH's is a Tungsten. I have to say I would NOT recommend the tungsten brand. After six months it looks like sh*t. I will say DH works on cars and machines, so that definitely has contributed but I didn't think it would look so awful after just a few months.

Really? I thought Tungsten was supposed to be the most durable...

the reason im getting tungsten is because its not expensive... Shaun wont be wearing his ring unless he gets a desk job... so im not going crazy now on something hes not going to wear

Re: How much did you pay for....

I would always try to convince brides (when I worked for my Mom) to not get a platinum band unless they had a 3 carat or above centerstone because platinum even though a stronger metal is a softer metal. Being softer, it loses its luster faster. So you pay more for the metal, but unless being used to hold big diamonds, I think it is unnecessary. White gold scratches can always be buffed out or dipped.

The only problem with Tungsten bands is that they can't be re-sized. Thank God they are cheap...If FH hands swell, just get him another one.

$640 for just a plain 14k gold band?

seems like a lot

I paid $200 for a plain white 14k gold band, size 13. Try anywhere in the city, in the diamond district. You can haggle that way.

Re: How much did you pay for....

Mine was $1400 for 2 custom made bands platinum with diamons half way around each.

FH's was $900 for 14k gold with diamonds.
