How much did you pay for alterations?

I am not sure how much alterations are going to cost. The women hasn't really been specific and I am nervous in the end she is going to try to crush me with a high bill.

mine cost $250, my dress shop was up front about the pricing from day one. You should talk to your seemstress and get the price.

My alterations are capped at $350. You should definitely make her give you a set price.

$100 for french & regular bustle. They are also altering the bust area but they don't charge for that. I don't remember what the cap was. I would have had to pay more if they had to hem the dress, but my dress cames in 3 different lengths & the length we ordered is perfect.

I had mine altered at burtons and they only charge for a hem and a bustle so mine was only $100. Ask the salon what their cap is and that's what you usually have to pay. If the cap is a lot, you can always go elsewhere to have your dress altered.

mine was a $250 cap and they let me know when i placed the order.

Mine was about $150--bustle, hem and it was taken in a little at the top.
