How much did you pay for your gown?

I'm just trying to get an idea of what is average so my father doesn't die from shock when he receives the bill..LOL

My Maggie Sottero cost about $780, including the stole and purse. The seamstress used the material from the stole to make my cap sleeves. Alterations cost $80.

My Chinese wedding dress was another story. It was custom made with real Chinese silk....

my dress was $549 but was on sale for $500 with all the accessories (veil,tiara,etc) it was just over 1,000. but the dress was cheap haha

i must be the cheapest bride east of the mississippi... i only spent $350. that's including shipping, taxes, and alterations

I was able to get my dress for about 700 but after all the alterations i probably will be close to 1,000.

About $850 for dress (ordered it hollow to hem), $150 for tiara, $75 for veil (it was discontinued, got the sample), having sleeves made ?, slip?, alterations?

Have any of you ordered a dress through Phyllis that required modifications (by the designer ) to the original design? Like taking out pleats, adding beadwork?
