jewlery for the bridal party?

I'm not sure what to get...crystal, sterling silver, fake, CZ??

honestly i went o claires, they had pearl necklaces with pave CZ around them...sooo pretty for like 10 bucks, and i got earrings, i got my MOH a really nice necklace from lord and taylor. i also got htem frames....

OK b/c I found Charter Club sets in macys for $24 and they were excactly what I wanted them to wear only they are so cheap?! I didn't want to buy them junk, but I guess its not like I can afford to buy the real stuff!!

I got my BMs these earrings from overstock.com. They were $30/pair, but they were offering free shipping and i also got a 12% because I was a new customer. They are a close match to the broach that is on the girls dresses.

Thats exactly what I got my girls..Charter Club necklaces from Macys for like $30 together with some other stuff...I figured that I wanted to get them something to wear for the wedding and my MOH had alrady given us necklaces from Tiffany's for her wedding so that was out and I feel like almost anything else is so suject to taste that it's not worth spending a huge amount of money on...I think the girls liked the necklaces I picked out but if they decide never to wear them again I'd be much more OK with it than if I had spent 100+ dollars....I'm sure yout gift will go over very well!!!

I got my girls the Tiffanys style heart charm braclets. They were like $25 each and then I got them engraved with their names for 5 each.

I am going to www.thecraftworks.com and getting their jewelry there. It is all SO pretty and SO inexpensive!! I don't know which set yet because I haven't finalized my pick for my bridesmaid dresses but definitely something from there. OH and I wanna get them robes with matching slippers. I am getting married in November and I thought it would be cute to give them warm bath robes to keep toasty for the fall and winter!

I bought their jewelry from Claire's and it looked beautiful with the dress! I paid about $10 for each set that included necklace & earrings.

I spent way too much! Personally, I don't like wearing jewelry that isnt' gold or at least sterling. I know that I'm going to wear 'real' jewels so I wanted my girls to as well. I went to Overstock.com and got the BMs really pretty blue topaz and white gold necklaces. The MOH got a pink topaz, white gold and diamond necklace. Since the jewelry was more expensive, I'm not going to give them anything else.

I also wanted to say that there's nothing wrong with costume jewelry. I've seen some very pretty stuff, I just didn't want it for myself.

i think it depends on how many people are in your BP and what your budget allows. but nothing wrong with going to claires or even better ebay!

I went overbaord on them wigth gifts and then bought them each a piece from Tiffany...the boys got gift cards....I only have 4 girls though

I bought each girl sterling silver earrings with CZs from Lord and Taylor. I got them on sale for $30 each (after sales and coupons). They were originally $90. I also got them bracelets for $20 (I got a discount for buying alot of them).

i got the bridesmaids each a handmade set of pearls from the jeweler that made my e ring and our wedding bands.

they were normally 150, he gave them to us for 100 cause i bought 12 of them!

I bought my girls CZ necklaces set in silver. I got them at Macy's and excpected to spend a lot more I got a great price on them orig 70 i got them for 29!!!!

But I planned with the extra money to get them all jewelry boxes with their initials engraved on them, a woman I work with makes them.
